Step 2: Resource Building & Nervous System Support

We’ll strengthen your internal and external resources, co-create a personalized safety plan, and build your capacity for self-regulation. You’ll also receive a powerful nervous system regulation toolkit to help you feel supported and safe between sessions.

Step 4: Personalized Trauma Processing Sessions to Meet Your Healing Goals

We’ll begin with a thorough client intake to understand your history, needs, and priorities. Together, we’ll define the most important goals for your healing, growth, and transformation during our 5 weeks together.

Through our 5 one-on-one sessions together, we’ll work with evidence-based trauma healing modalities to support your healing Goal:

Healing Childhood Trauma Wounds: Begin healing the root pain of childhood neglect, abuse and betrayal with compassion and care.

Releasing Stored Traumatic Imprints: Work with the body and unconscious parts to release trauma patterns stored in the nervous system.

What You'll Receive:

Somatic Therapy: Wire safety into the nervous system. Release stored survival energy. Build capacity for calm presence.

Internal Family Systems (IFS): Befriend your protective parts. Heal the wounded child within. Unburden shame, fear, anger, sadness and emotional pain.

Attachment EMDR: Process and rewire traumatic memories so they no longer control you.

Trauma-Informed Care: You’ll be met with compassion, patience, and understanding. Your pace is respected. Your safety is paramount throughout the entire healing journey.

Psychoeducation & Empowerment – Understand how your brain, body, and emotions are working together — and how you can begin to rewire them for peace, clarity, and emotional freedom.

We will define your Healing Goals during the Assessment and Goal-setting session and refine your personalised healing plan.

We’ll lay a strong foundation using EMDR’s Peaceful Place installation and somatic practices to deepen self-trust, grounding, and embodied safety—helping you feel more at ease as you approach deeper work.

In these first 5 weekly sessions, you'll begin the journey of healing after the breakup — not just on the surface, but deep within the nervous system, where old wounds live. This is a safe, structured space to process your emotions, release the weight of the past trauma, and start to feel like yourself again. Each session will take 2 hours+ Deeply personalized trauma release sessions to address your core needs and goals. You will be empowered with Nervous system regulation tools and education to continue your healing.
